Mardee Greenham
Dr Mardee Greenham is a leading expert in childhood stroke recovery, with more than 20 years of research and clinical experience dedicated to improving lifelong outcomes for children and their families. She led the development of Australia’s first clinical guideline for child stroke rehabilitation and has made substantial contributions to advancing evidence‑based care in this field.
Mardee currently leads the national childhood stroke program at Stroke Foundation, working alongside people with lived experience to co‑design resources, support pathways, and education initiatives that help families navigate life after childhood stroke. She previously spent almost two decades at the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute, where she completed her PhD on psychosocial outcomes following paediatric stroke and continues to hold an honorary appointment.
Her expertise spans clinical research, advocacy, education, and the design of services that strengthen long‑term recovery and wellbeing for children and young people affected by stroke.
