Enrique Cruz

Enrique (Eric) Cruz is the Manager and a Clinical Nurse Consultant of the Alfred Health Continence Service. He is the post-graduate lecturer for continence and urological nursing at La Trobe University. He is also an adjunct research nurse of the Department of Neuroscience of Monash University. His area of research is on the rehabilitation of post-stroke incontinence. He holds a master's degree in public health and is currently doing his PhD with supervisors from La Trobe, Monash, and Melbourne Universities about post-stroke incontinence rehabilitation with adjunct transcutaneous electrical stimulation. He has been a contributing author of textbooks in public health and medical-surgical nursing. Eric is part of a working committee of the International Continence Society (ICS) on the standardisation of terminologies for nursing management of lower urinary tract and pelvic floor dysfunction in adults. He is a member of the Continence Nurses Society of Australia (CONSA), Australia and New Zealand Urological Nurses Society (ANZUNS), and was the last treasurer of the Continence Nurses Society Victoria and Tasmania branch (CoNSA VIC TAS).
