Nada Signal
Dr Nada Signal is currently the Associate Dean of Postgraduate Research for the Faculty of Health and Environmental Sciences and an Associate Professor in Rehabilitation. Nada is a recipient of a New Zealand Health Research Council Emerging Researcher Award (2019) and the AUT Vice-Chancellor's Award for Research Excellence-Emerging Researcher (2019). Her research focuses on innovation in rehabilitation clinical practice and the development of novel technologies to augment rehabilitation. She supervises post-graduate research students at Masters and Doctorate level from clinical, design and engineering backgrounds. She has 20 years’ physiotherapy clinical and leadership experience in community, rehabilitation and acute healthcare settings; primarily working with people with neurological conditions.
