John E Pierce
John is a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow in the Aphasia CRE, La Trobe University. He is currently coordinator for the Communication Connect project, a $1.8m government-funded project that aims to improve rehabilitation and self-management for people with communication impairments after stroke and traumatic brain injury. He researches aspects of treatment intensity and technology in aphasia and has a passion for communicating research to other speech pathologists, students and people with aphasia.
